Dilan Gooneratne is the CEO/Founder of InQube, a global apparel innovation company with capabilities in design, technology incubation, digital and vertical manufacturing. InQube is also the innovation arm and the active wear division of Brandix Group, a USD 1 billion apparelmanufacturing group headquartered in Sri Lanka.
Currently, Inqube is a USD 170 million business, comprising of a design center of excellence in the UK, an Innovation Hub with a state-of-the-art Maker Space in Sri Lanka and a global manufacturing arm. The manufacturing footprint spans Sri Lanka, Haiti and Cambodia and has a 9,300 member strong work force across its locations.
Prior to Inqube, Dilan had spent 15 years in the apparel industry serving as Managing Director to Bodyline and Intimate Fashions India, both joint ventures of Triumph Industries, MAS and MAST Industries. Prior to joining the apparel industry, Dilan was involved in Retail, Brand and Marketing Communications fields at John Keells and Phoenix Ogilvy & Mather respectively
